What to Expect When You're Expecting is a 2012 American romantic comedy film directed by Kirk Jones from a screenplay by Shauna Cross and Heather Hach and based on the book of the same name. It stars an ensemble cast of Cameron Diaz, Jennifer Lopez, Elizabeth Banks, Chace Crawford, Brooklyn Decker, Anna Kendrick, Matthew Morrison, Dennis Quaid, Chris Rock and Rodrigo Santoro. The film also features many celebrity cameos including NBA player Dwyane Wade, former The Hills star Whitney Port, Will & Grace star Megan Mullally, Girls Aloud member and The X Factor judge Cheryl Cole, So You Think You Can Dance choreographer and guest judge Tyce Diorio and The Black Eyed Peas member Taboo. hilarious and difficult parent-to-be experiences, from twins to adoption
to miscarriage, offering a collage of what it means to be a modern mom
Peter Travers of the magazine Rolling Stone gave it one and a half stars, writing that the film itself "triggered the vomiting," while praising only select cast members. Matt Stevens from E! Online
gave the film a negative review, stating that the jokes are "obvious"
and the "bits of drama could've been pulled from any sitcom's Very
Special Episode—with all to be resolved right after the commercial
break.
